Abstract

Abstract: The treatment of an ubiquitous, reality distorting and ego dystonic phantasy is discussed from varying points of view and on varying developmental levels. Differences in treatment technique and outcome are stressed. The phantasy surfaced in an experiential group, a dancetherapeutic psychoanalysis and a Chace group in an institutional setting. Treatment modalities were varied accordingly.
